As Jamilah N. Lawry, I built NinaCapone.com to explore what happens when an independent artist uses AI not just to create content, but to build the digital infrastructure behind their career.
The project reimagines the traditional electronic press kit as an intelligent, artist-owned digital ecosystem connecting music, storytelling, media, booking, fan engagement, community, business opportunities, and digital discovery.
Using AI-assisted development and vibe coding, I transformed the Nina Capone brand into a working web experience designed to serve multiple audiences—from fans and journalists to promoters, brands, and potential partners.
The bigger idea behind the project is simple:
Independent artists should be able to own more than their music. They should be able to own their technology, audience relationships, digital experiences, and infrastructure.
NinaCapone.com is my exploration of what an **agentic artist platform** can become.
